Payment information — where payment is taken, this is processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details ourselves.
Correspondence — records of messages you send us.
Website and technical data — including IP address and basic usage data collected via cookies (see section 8).
Event photography — we may take photographs or video at events; where these identify you, see section 4 for the basis on which we use them.

3. How we collect it
Directly from you — when you enquire, book, complete a health disclaimer, or correspond with us — and automatically, through cookies when you use our website.

4. Why we use your information, and our lawful basis

To respond to enquiries and provide your booking — lawful basis: performance of a contract (and steps taken before entering one).
To ensure you can take part safely (health screening) — because this is health data, our basis is your explicit consent, given when you complete the disclaimer. You can decline, but we may then be unable to let you take part, for your own safety.
To keep records for safety, insurance, and legal purposes — lawful basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interest in operating safely and defending potential claims.
To send you marketing (only if you've opted in) — lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Event photography for promotion — lawful basis: legitimate interests, and we will not use clearly identifying images of you for marketing without your consent. Tell any host if you'd prefer not to be filmed.
To run and improve our website — lawful basis: legitimate interests (and consent for non-essential cookies).

5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, including:

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect someone's safety.

6. International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where your information is transferred abroad, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as necessary:

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: nil
Booking and correspondence records: 6 months

We do not knowingly collect data from under-18s except where a parent or guardian provides it and consents on their behalf as part of a booking.
